• Cormon M. Huskey, 31, of Horse Cave, was arrested April 22 on a Hart County bench warrant for contempt of court. He was ordered to serve 90 days in jail.

• Cormon M. Huskey, 31, of Horse Cave, was arrested April 22 on a Hart County bench warrant for contempt of court. He was ordered to serve 90 days in jail.
• Dingo A. Fernandez, 21, of Russell Springs, was arrested April 26 on a Russell County bench warrant for failure to appear to court on Nov. 12, 2019, to answer for charges of leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance, and failure of an owner to maintain required insurance.
• Angela White, 40, of Louisville, was arrested April 26 on a Jefferson County bench warrant for failure to appear. The underlying charge in her case was possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense (methamphetamine).
• Austin Scott, 19, of Liberty, was arrested April 25 for public intoxication by a controlled substance excluding alcohol.
According to a citation written by Casey County Sheriff’s Deputy Hannah Lynn at around 12:45 p.m. she and another deputy arrived at an address on Kentucky Highway 70 to speak to Scott regarding an investigation. Upon arrival, police found Scott standing outside a garage at the address. He was manifestly under the influence with glossy eyes, constricted pupils, slurred speech, was unsteady on his feet, and was talking out of his head.
His family on the scene said that he was “messed up on something” and that he was not his usual self.
David Wethington, 29, of Liberty, was arrested April 26 for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to a citation written by Casey County Sheriff’s Deputy Hannah Lynn, at around 1:30 p.m. she responded to a request for a home visit at Wethington’s address on Woods Creek Road.
Upon arrival, police made contact with Wethington, who advised he was in possession of a shotgun in his bedroom. Police searched and found the weapon which was unloaded in a gun cabinet.
