A two-vehicle collision, apparently caused when a driver fail to stop for a school bus, resulted in one injury Monday afternoon.
Sheriff Dickie Benningfield, the investigating officer, reported that Lorin McAllister, 26, of Greensburg, rear-ended a vehicle which was stopped for a school bus dropping students off. The bus was not involved in the collision on Greensburg Road.
According to the sheriff’s report, McAllister was traveling west on Greensburg Road in a 2015 Honda SUV when it struck a 2007 GMC pickup driving by Chad Bagby, 39, of Greensburg.
McAllister was injured and received medical care at the scene by TCEMS before being transported to Taylor Regional Hospital for treatment of possible head and back injuries, the police information says. She later was released from the hospital.
Bagby reported no injuries as a result of the crash.
