Sheridan Nally, 82, of Bardstown, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Cooper Trail Senior Living. He was born April 6, 1940 in Washington County, retired from General Electric, enjoyed car shows, gardening, fishing, mowing yards, and working on lawn mowers. He loved spending time with his grandson, Caleb, family, and grand-dog Winston, and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Gertrude Mudd Nally; parents, Thurman and Mary Rose Nally; and two brothers, Albertus Nally, and Charles Nally.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Michael) Kidwell of Springfield; son, Terry (Mary Jo) Nally of Bardstown; grandson, Caleb Nally of Bardstown; two brothers, Victor (Eunice) Nally, and Leo Nally both of Springfield; sister, Bernadine Benham of Harrodsburg; special friend, Rose Cravens of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass was at 11:00 a.m. Friday March 10, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Rev. Michael Martin officiated. Visitation was 3 — 8 p.m. Thursday, March 9, and 9 — 10:15 a.m. Friday, March 10, at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service was at 5:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
Memorial contributions may go to Masses at Holy Trinity.
